Medical emergency number
When providing safety data sheets, you are required by EU Regulation 453/2010 & TRGS 220 to provide an emergency number where medical information can be obtained in the event of exposure to the product concerned.
If a release of chemicals occurs in the event of a personal accident, special medical advice may also be necessary. In Germany, this is carried out by medical experts in the poison information centres.
By providing the medical emergency number, the legal requirements of the respective countries are complied with and your company is not contacted in case of an emergency.
